GERMANY, BERLIN: THE OLYMPIASTADION
As the name suggests, Olympiastadion has been previously used for the Olympic Games. It made its debut at the 1939 Olympics and has just recently been used as one of the venues for the 2006 Soccer World Cup. The stadium is currently able to seat 76, 000 people, though back in 1939 it was originally designed to hold a massive 100,000 people. However, Adolf Hitler wasn't satisfied with the initial stadium and later appointed a new architect to redesign the stadium, who went by the name of Albert Speer. He was later called "Architect of the Devil", for quite obvious reasons.
