MEXICO, GUADALAJARA: THE JALISCO STADIUM

It was first semi-final of the 1970 Soccer World Cup in Mexico. Brazil played Uruguay on the 17th of June to try and cement a place in the final. In the early minutes of the first half, an unforced error by the Brazilian goalkeeper put Uruguay in the driver's seat. It wasn't too long before Uruguay's licence expired, and regrettably just before the end of the first half. It was only a matter of time before the infamous Brazilian striker, Pele' shattered the hearts of Uruguayan nation by scoring two late goals in the second half.
