Niger River

Niger River is known as the third longest river in Africa. It is 4100 kilometers long. In the Western Africa it is identified as the largest and longest. The Niger River basin is located in the Western Africa where it covers about 7.5% of the continent. Mali and Niger depend on the Niger River as their water source/ for their water resources. Nearly 90 percent of the total water resources of Niger originate outside its boarders.
