COLORADO RIVER

Colorado River is found in Texas, United State. Colorado River is one of the largest rivers in America and it is on the South-West of America [1]. The Spanish used to call the river the Rio Colorado or "Red River" because of the color of the water. The color of the water is blue-green to reddish-brown [2]. The river is about 2,330 km long and it flow south easterly. The Colorado River flows from Dawson Country through the Marble falls, Austin, Bastrop, Smithville, La Grange, Columbus and Bay City then it empties in the Gulf of Mexico. The water from the river is used for farming by the farmers, to supply the city with water (after being purified) and also used for hydropower [1].
