NIGER RIVER

Niger River is one of the largest rivers in the Western Africa. The river is about 4 180 km long and it the largest river in Africa. Niger River flow north easterly. Niger River runs through Guinea, Mali, Niger, and Benin then through Nigeria where it empties into the gulf of Guinea then into Atlantic Ocean [12]. The water in the river is used drinking after being purified and also for irrigation by farmers. The river also has different types of fishes, so it also supplies the people around with food [13].
