Lake Eyre

Lake Eyre is sometimes called a great salt lake because of high salt it contains and is situated in South Australia and 28:30S, 137:20E; -9.5 m above sea level. This lake is the largest Australian drainage after Western Plateau. The surface area of Lake Eyre is about 8430 km2 and the depth is about 5.7 m.
