Lake Victoria

Lake Victoria is the largest of all African lakes and is the second freshwater body in the world. It is found between three countries namely: Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya (0:21N-3:00S, 31:39- 34:53E; 1,134 m above sea level). The surface of this lake is about 68 800 km2, with a maximum depth of about 84 m.
